Why do so many people get plastic surgery? Is it good or bad? What about abortions?

1. right now i'm happy with myself, but later in life hey i might get some plastic surgery. & i have a feeling this might become heated, haha to each their own.
2. wow two totally different things thats kind of weird, where did that come from? anyway. plastic surgery i think is fine as long as they don't spend so much time changing everything about who they are. maybe 2-3 different things and not over doing it. but it is also great for people who have permanent scars and other trauma to their body as for abortion i am for it for those who are raped, have problems that can harm the baby and/or herself, are afraid of adoption, has an abusive relationship and doesn't want the baby in fear of endangering it. but i don't think people who can take care of it, are able to carry it to term and know someone who wants it to adopt should just cause "they don't wanna"
3. people will get plastic surgery because they are not happy with the body they've been given, and feel like they would look more attractive to others and themselves if certain body parts were bigger/smaller etc. it's good for people who want to boost their self esteem although they can learn to love themselves first. the bad part is that there can be complications and health risks. abortion.......i'm not quite sure what you're asking

I don't see anything wrong with wanting to enhance your appearance but after so much it does get dangerous because the more surgery you get the more flesh you lose (that's why Michael Jackson's nose falls off) as for abortions, I'm pro-choice, if someone is on birth control, using condoms and doing what is necessary to prevent pregnancy i don't see anything wrong with it. But as for someone who will just neglect doing anything to prevent it i think it's just selfish. And of course in cases of rape it's acceptable.
5. Unfortunately, plastic surgeries are not very safe. They are very popular in california, and I guess Mexico is #1 for plastic surgeries. I think it really depends on the practice of the surgeon, and the complexity of the surgery that you need. As ugly as I could be, I wouldn't get it. Abortions might not be safe either. That depends on how far you're into the pregnancy, I could be very painful if you are way far in. It might also affect some stuff inside your woman organs, so I say be very careful with both. I would just overall try to avoid both situations. Hope all is well.
6. I think plastic surgery is not as bad as it seems, but then again it really depends why you're going under the knife. There are hundreds of different kinds of cosmetic repairs and again hundreds of different reasons why women (and some men?) want to. If you're getting it to please someone, then I think its bad. But if you're doing it for yourself (eye lift, botox, breast enhancements to feel more confident about yourself) I believe its OKAY,,,as long as it's not for someone else's satisfaction. Sometimes it's bad because plastic surgery can go wrong..and actually ruin someone's life. So there is it's pros & cons. HOWEVER, I don't believe in abortions.

9. you are looking for arguments aren't you???? abortions well i think they are wrong it's crazy. in certain situations though abortions are okay but it's a woman's right. i saw a graphic on myspace of a woman laying in the hospital bed holding her child and it said five minutes ago it was legal to kill me. so sad i'm a mom so of course i cried. if someone doesn't want a baby they should be on birth control. plastic surgery i don't think it's bad unless you go over board look at michael jackson lol
