I need a nose job but am unsure about plastic surgery.?

First off, my nose is just awful. Its large and from the side on it just sticks out so much, has an ugly hump. It honest to god makes me hate myself..I've been researching rhinoplasties, and am so unsure whether to get one. There are so many risks and it sounds so painful, but will it benefit me in the end? I have no confidence when it comes to my looks, sometimes i cant even look people in the eye..Please, what shoud I do? I feel like screaming to people, 'this big nose isnt really me!! Inside me theres a girl with a small nose!'

  1. just tell someone to hit u across the face with a ,metal bat
  2. there is 15-minute thing. Instead of surgery they inject with botox or watever. Its only takes 15 minutes and it costa like $500. Its painless and you would go back to the doctor very 6 months.
  3. I worked for a plastic surgeon/ENT and from the patients I have seen and treated Rhinoplasty is a very big consideration not to be taken lightly. It is very painful, you will have major bruising for several weeks. There will be considerable swelling for a couple of months. Consider what they have to do. the nose in mose cases is actually broken so the cartiledge can be worked on. If there is a hump as you called it, that will be shaved off to make a smooth line. Of coarse you wil be asleep for all of this but there is followup visits you must keep, and follow all cleansing instructions given to you by your board certified physician. Given that you are basing who you are on your nose worries me a little, yet that is why there is plastic surgery. If you are thinking that having this done will make you a whole new person, please know that it will only aid in helping you to become the person you want to be. There is no amount of plastic sugery that can make you the true person you are. Only you are able to perfect and work on issues you have and enhancing the wonderful gifts that God gave you. You are unique in you're on personal way, that is who you are and it is good. Only you can decide if having a smaller nose is going the help you find and stay true to yourself. It is going to hurt, I'm not going to kid you about that, and if you do have it done, I'd suggest doing it now so you can rececover over the summer without having to go to school all bruised and bandaged. I hope you make the right decision for your well being mentally, physically and spiritually. Good luck, Jackie b
