is plastic surgery a BAD thing? why or why not? (explain)?

my aunt was going to get plastic surgery done on one of her hip that she shattered! i didnt know they could do that but i was always against it untill i learned that some people actually use it for other stuff, other than fake boobs and noses... do you guys think its bad?? what do you all think of fat being removed and placed somewhere else on the body like your butt???

i think reconstructive plastic surgery (like for people with deformaties or been in accidents) etc is good your not gonna have your fake boobs in heaven

NO, but too much plastic surgery is a very bad thing. Just doing a few things isn't bad.
I think if it can be actually used to help someone then heck yea...but the fake boobs thing is superficial I agree...I think the people who invented plastic surgery procedure did it to help people w/ disfigurements...your g. mothers case would fall in line w/ this...when people found out they could use this to make pretty people prettier, or make big boobs bigger...they capitalized on this new technology and used it for their own personal gain...this is called self servience and it is consuming our society at an ever alarming rate...I wish the best for your g. mother and if there's anything that the doc can do to help her then by all means...but I wouldn't put her in the same category as the Hollywood hillbillies...I mean...give the ol gal some credit :) heh....gl...

Plastic surgery is used for a lot of things, most of them good. I would even have it done for cosmetics reasons if I could afford it. Why not?
