Does having jaw surgery change the shape of your face a lot?

I am going to have jaw surgery soon and im trying to figure out if the shape of my face will change a lot. I want to buy some glasses and i need to know if my face will change so much that the glasses don't look the same. Thanks

1. it depends how drastic your jaw surgery is! I mean, if you are having plastic surgery to change the shape of you jaw, it is obviously going to affect how your face looks. Why don't you get contact lenses?
2. no it should just affect the shape of your jaw if anything not ur whole face!!
