can you get a scar removed from your face through surgery?

i have a scar on chin from when i fell when i was young and i want to know if there is any way to remove it from my face by using surgery...and if so what is it called

2. plastic surgeons can revise a scar so it is not so visible, but I don't believe it can be 100% removed. it's just called plastic surgery.

6. Ask your dermatologist if there is a product to fade the scar. You may as well see if there is a cheap easy way to do it.
