Can you reverse the effects of negativity on your face w/o surgery?

Can you reverse the effects of stress and negativity on your face without surgery? I.E., frowning so much that now you find it difficult to smile.

  1. stand on your head and it will be a smile :) j/k you can do exercises be forcing yourself to smile alot. to a great big smile and hold it for 20 sec.s keep repeating this for 15 mins. over time you will strengthen the muscles and it will be easier to smile. find something that makes you really happy. watch a funny movie go see a comedian smile smile smile smile :) :) :)
  2. No, if you are not smiling then there is a reason for it. Go with your natural emotions, it is much better this way.
  3. This is a psychological problem not a physical one. Having suffered and become stressed, your features are apparently showing signs of this mood and of your situation. So to change the physical features you need to change the difficult state that you are in. Try getting out of your present environment, go away to a place where your worries receed, and you get a chance to do some sports activity in more relaxing surroundings. And the next time somebody slips on a bananna skin (or the equivalent), laugh out loud without caring if he/she gets offended.
  4. Well therapy would probably be an option. Work through why your unable to smile. If it's the facial lines you're talking about than there are lots of products on the market to claim to get rid of facial lines without surgery. I know botox works, but is also temporary fix. Go to a dermalogica near you, they have consultants that help decide what facial things treat your skin type. Also, sephoria has great products all under one roof. Good luck:)
  5. Try practicing your smile in the mirror. : )
