How do you get free plastic surgery as a military dependent at a military training center?

  1. There is a certain amount of cosmetic plastic surgery that is done in medical centers, by residents training as plastic surgeons. In general, the medical folks have enough to keep them busy without taking on cosmetic procedures. What type of procedures are you referring too?
  2. I left the military in 1977 so I am sure that much has changed since then. However, I would be willing to bet that elective plastic surgery is not covered. In other words, if you want a nose job because you don't like yours, I think you are out of luck. If a broken nose healed incorrectly and you need plastic surgery to correct normal function, I think that would be coverd.
  3. as far as i read, why don't you pay for it yourself, instead of having the tax payers pay for it. Its not free, the money comes from somewhere, if you had said YOU were in the military and had become disfigured in combat i'd be all for you getting hooked up, but if daddy served you should pay for your own plastic surgery
