Awful Plastic Surgery Knowledge Base
If you have unnatural lookin plastic surgery, can it be reversed? I see all of these plastic surgery rejects, like mickey rourke, farrah faucett, michael jackson, etc. and I wonder if they realize how awful they look, and can they go to a good plastic surgeon who can make them look like real people again. Can too tight facelifts be relaxed? Can a mangled, pointy tipped nosejob be rebulked up? Can bee stung collagen lips return to normal?
Why do people prefer to have plastic surgery instead of losing weight in a healthy way? One my friends has recenty had a plastic surgery(liposuction). She is really young(23) and I told her not to do this, because she can lose that weight giving up on fast food and doing a lot of exercise. She did not listen to me.Now she's in the hospital and she has severe complications. She spent all that money and now she feels awful.I just don't understand why people choose to do this.I'm a vegetarian,I've been eating organic food for 5 years and I've been looking great and feeling healthy ever since.I think the natural way is the way to go.What do u think?
How can I lift my breast without plastic surgery? I had my second child 2years ago and I feel awful my breast are sagging and I have a huge tummy. With my first child I did not look like this. I have always exercise and stay fit but I can't seem to get back into shape. My friend keeps telling me all that can be done is plastic surgery.
What Do you think of plastic Surgery for weight Loss? I have tried Diets and weight loss programs and private trainers and i have loss weight however I have a problem area in my lower stomach. (maybe because I had 3 kids and 1 was a c-section. So do you have any other suggestions? if not my only other option is weight loss surgery what surgey would you recomend? Lipo? tummy tuck? I have heard awful stories about tummy tuck.
Anyone know where to find a before pic for Daisy de la hoya? I recently saw on an interview that Daisy claims that her lips are real!!! I know, insane because they are soo fake and plumped with filler! She admits to having her tits done, but her nose is horrible too!! Too much coke going up it...lol. Anyway, i was wondering if anyone knew where i could find a pic of her before the awful plastic surgery. I wonder if she has always looked like a platapus on crack?
PLASTIC SURGERY HELP? I got plastic surgery recently, and boy it went awful! I thought I would turn out something similar to Reese Witherspoon, but no. My surgeon said he saw nothing wrong. I think he's crazy. What next??? I need Immediate help! http://www.erichufschmid.net/Dumb-down/Jocelyn-Wildenstein.JPG
Do you think plastic surgery leaves people worse off than they were before? l looked through before-and-after photos of celebs and a lot of them looked SO much better before and now they look awful! some even look hideous now! They say plastic surgery is supposed to make people look beautiful but I think it makes people look uglier. Classic examples are Jennifer Grey, Janice Dickinson, Lisa Rinna, and of course, we can't forget Michael Jackson. What do you think about people going under the knife? Would you ever recommend it to a friend or should people just accept who they are? You're right I wouldn't say Jennifer Grey looks ugly now, she looks fine, its just that no-one recognizes her anymore and it ruined her acting career!! I loved her in dirty dancing :)
can plastic surgery fix big bones..? random but is it possible to get plastic surgery to reduce the size of your bones? my ribs are gigantic and look AWFUL. yes, i'm sure. i'm 5 ft 8 and weigh 125. my ribs stick out and it looks gross.
have you had plastic surgery, and were you pleased with the results? There is all the nice pictures of before and after in their brochures, and on websites. All the horror stories in magazines. I was just wondering how real peoples experiences of plastic surgery is, as i know its probably not either brilliant or awful, theres a lot of shades of grey in between. Im going to be getting a breast lift and implants along with a tummy tuck. I'll be getting it done abroad, so if anyone has any stories of travelling abroad for it that'd be great. Yes, the gods did make me unique, but not in a good way. I have had wrinkly saggy skin and deep stretchmarks on my tummy since i was 20 years old. My present to my daughter was breastfeeding her exclusivly wihch left my boobs like pitta breads, now i deserve a pressent to myself!
Plastic Surgery too much? Okay in 2004 my Mum had a face lift, which we all tried to talk her out of, she looked very strange and still does a lilttle bit, but we all said it will be fine when it settles down. She was looking fine and has no double chin at all and plenty of cheek bone, no wrinkles etc. Definately didn't need more work done. On the 15th January she went and had more work done. Now she is on the phone saying she is not happy, her eyes are slanty and she has a slight cat in wind tunnel look about her. I told her look you only had a face lift 4 and a bit years ago, I told her over and over, don't do any more work. You look fine, wait another 10 to 15 years then do a little more, not like only 4 years later. My problem is that I feel like she is just turning herself into a freak and that she is not the Mum I once knew, I can't reason with her anymore, not just on plastic surgery on anything, it is like she has had a mental change not just a cosmetic change...it's really strange but I feel like I have mentally lost Mum that was. I have made excuse after excuse about not being able to go and see her (she lives quite far away) - because honestly, I know that she will be showing me the cuts and stitch marks and going on about how brave all her friends say she is and what do I think, and I don't want to have to say - it looks awful, but I feel I might have to do stop her doing something else in 4 or 5 years when she clearly will not need it. She went to a very reputable surgeon, she used to go like every 4 months, is there anything else you can do, he used to tell her, no you are fine you don't need anything doing, then all of a sudden last Autumn he recomended "endotine" etc....(plenty of info on internet)..and then in January bam it was done. I get the feeling she was bothering him so much that he has done quite a tight job to stop her coming back and back and back. She has seen him 4 times since 15 January for checking and follow up, Mum has complained to him it is too tight, he says it will settle down. I said to Mum it will look tight because honestly you didn't need anything doing..she just dismisses me and says I am not qualified to say. I just don't really want to go and visit, we speak every night on the phone, and I say "how is your face today" and then she moans, but then defends having it done. Now I am blabbing on and on. Basically I feel quilty because I don't want to visit her, what should I do? Visit when I want or just go up and see and get it over with ? PS I am 44 she is 67. Apparently one of her friends exclaimed when they saw her, oh my god you look like you are 8 years old !

What is wrong with my nose? Ive had plastic surgery before, but not sure if the pain is related? Two days ago, I was wrestling with my boyfriend when he put his arm around my face, resulting in a large amount of pain afterwards. Although it didnt bleed, im postive something is wrong. The tip of my nose is numb but when i touch the left side of the upper part of my nose, the pain is awful. It feels as though its stretching it? I dont know how exactly to explain the pain, but its def not normal. Im 19, and when I was 10 months old i fell and had to get plastic surgery on my nose.
What do you think of lil Kim's ne w nose? is that good plastic surgeryor what...LOL just kidding check it out? http://www.hollywoodgrind.com/if-you-hav... http://www.theinsider.com/photos/1026669... http://www.awfulplasticsurgery.com/2004/... jesus can you take a joke? yes its awful plastic sugery but yes their is such a thing as good plastic sugery just like there's bad plastic surgery. In my opinion if your surgeon alter's your nose in a natural looking way if you really need it and dont go over board and it looks natural then its well done than its good plastic sugery....like these http://www.goodplasticsurgery.com/ http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h... their are alot of people with good plastic surgery results. lil kim in the other hand went way over board
Do you think there was incest in the Jackson Family? The child molestation charges? The father who beat them and that crazy look in his eyes? Michael and LaToya's awful plastic surgery?, Janet flashing the world with her nipples? Neverland as an updated "gingerbread house in the woods"?... what's your take?? Also, if the accusations by LaToya that her father Joe molested her, than yes, that would be categorized as incest.
Plastic surgery question? I want to get a rhinoplasty (nose reshape) it's not that my nose is large or crooked or has a bump. It's actually a nice size and is straight, but I hate the tip of my nose. It's an awful shape. Is rhinoplasty the right procedure for me? Where can I find reputable surgeons/companies? Any useful websites? Any help is much appreciated. :) Thanks!
My aunt got plastic surgery recently......and im not happy B4 and AFTER..? Well my aunt is 26 years old and she to me was beautiful but she was not happy withherself and got plasstic surgery ...i really hate the way she looks now. She plumped up her lips and got a nose job. I think she looks awful what do you think? IM planning to show this to her so she can stop with the lip plumping her nose i dotnthink she can ever change again and look natural ..can it?? BEFORE http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/sharyizthaone/104_1377.jpg AFTER http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g102/sharyizthaone/IMG_2095-1.jpg I really do hate how she looks now and my whole family has expressed how much we dislike what she did to herself we were against it from the beginiing but she insisted it would make her happy..
Im considering plastic surgery..? I know im only 16 but i'm really thinking about it for when im older. Im scared of the ricks and the costs and if i'll regret it but here it is.. I feel like my face looks like two people. One from the from and one from the side. I like what I look like from the front and my friends and some boys say im pretty BUT from the side i LOOK AWFUL. I have the worst ski slope nose ever thats kinda turned up and chin that reclines and is ugly. I try avoiding looking at myself from the side but im concious about people looking at me from the side. I hate it when they do and I hate having to pass people if they'd see my profile. Im really not vain as you might think from my pictures! I really don't know if I should get it when im older what do you think? Why exactly did Michael Jackson get plastic surgery? The man looked perfectly fine (no homo) before he got it before http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/1939/bad1658gi.jpg http://www.mmjworld.de/galerie/michael/thriller/83_00_00_thriller/images/83_00_00_thriller_52.jpg http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/1200000/images/_1202008_jackson3003.jpg after http://hollywoodbackwash.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/10/michael-jackson.jpg http://www.ximnet.com.my/thelab/images/upload/MIchaeJackson1.jpg its just awful, i miss the old michael he was supported by all the ladies and the kids did his moves...but i still consider him as the king of pop FYI I was a kid in growing up in the 90's
Do you think Octomom's (Nadya Suleman) plastic surgery looks good? She has had her nose, lips, and cheeks done. I also heard she had a boob job when she was 18, but that is unsubstantiated. I think it looks awful.....like a skanky angelina jolie. She looks like a burn victim. Scary. Please, anyone with a bit of common sense can look at her "before" and "after" pictures and see she's had her cheeks, nose, and lips done. And I asked this question because I'm honestly curious if anyone thinks she is pretty, and not scary.
I need a nose job but am unsure about plastic surgery.? First off, my nose is just awful. Its large and from the side on it just sticks out so much, has an ugly hump. It honest to god makes me hate myself..I've been researching rhinoplasties, and am so unsure whether to get one. There are so many risks and it sounds so painful, but will it benefit me in the end? I have no confidence when it comes to my looks, sometimes i cant even look people in the eye..Please, what shoud I do? I feel like screaming to people, 'this big nose isnt really me!! Inside me theres a girl with a small nose!'
Anyone watch the new "Rock of Love" last night? I could NOT believe how slutty this batch of girls was compared to the first 2 seasons even! Did you see them on stage? The first girl he is introduced to he's seen in porn! And I don't think a single one had real breasts! It's like you had to be at least a "DD" to even be considered for the show. I missed the last 10 minutes. Who was the one that got to stay? Did the really weird blond with the awful plastic surgery on her face that was sitting down during the elimination ceremony stay or not? And what about the blond that was a nurse but didn't like to party and said that she didn't even listen to Poison? Ironically, she had huge fake boobs too. I know that the Brazilian nutcase got to stay and so did the one she that got into a fight with that he said looked like Juliette Lewis. What has happened to our society? I know I just encourage garbage like this to be aired by watching it but it's hard not to watch!
How do people like Courtney Love become famous? Even before she met Kurt she appeared in a few films (Sid & Nancy, Straight to Hell) and started her band Hole. Her acting was horrible, she was extremely ugly and fat (before her plastic surgery), and her music was just screaming about how she was ugly and a whore (album: Hole-Pretty on the Inside). I'm sure marrying Kurt heightened her success, especially after his death. But what did he see in her? She is awful. Look at her now. All she ever wanted was fame. She is just a wannabe who is jealous of Madonna.
Who else thinks Daisy from Daisy of Love is ugly? I think she looks just plan awful especially w/o any makeup. She looks so so fake and fake in a bad way. I'm totally for plastic surgery if it makes you look better but sometimes ppl that get it done looks worse like her.
Will cosmetic surgery help this? I recently had a baby and was very fortunate to not get stretch marks on my stomach. I was 95lbs before I got pregnant and had a REALLY good body. I gained 50lbs during pregnancy (most of it was at the end water weight) and I have since lost almost all my weight 107 at just 16 weeks postpartum. What bothers me though is my breasts. I used to have very nice, perky, breasts size 32C. During pregnancy they grew to a size 36E! I couldn't believe how unproportinate they were on my small frame it was awful but thankfully my belly grew so big that it canceled them out. Well, after I had my baby girl, I breastfed and they got EVEN BIGGER, until I unfortunatly had to stop breastfeeding and my breats shrank to a size 36C. Now I am left with SAGGY boobs that sit way far apart, and the worst part about it is they have BAD stretch marks on the sides and underneath my breasts. I am so insecure! I absolutely hate them. I went from being so happy with my body to so unhappy with my body well, mainly my breasts. Would plastic surgery help this? Will it get rid of stretchmarks? What type of surgery? Im just looking for information. Im actually not going to have surgery until Im done having kids but I know for sure that I want to fix my body when all is said and done. My husband says he is supportive if it will make me feel better about my breasts although he loves them still. Any help would be greatly appreciated?
Did Michael Jackson embody the desire of a generation, that is, never to grow up? America's cult of youth persists, despite the rapid aging of its population. During the next 10 years, the country's elderly dependent ratio will rise to 25%, after holding steady for three decades at around 19%. Still, the baby boomers flee from the awful reality. Between 1997 and 2007, the number of cosmetic procedures per year rose tenfold, from 2 million to 10 million, according to the industry association. Its polling data states that 29% of Americans without children, and 24% of Americans with children, would consider plastic surgery.

IS wwe and all other wrestling industry's wrestling fake? Millions of people are wwe fans and tune in every week to see their favourite superstars. But is all the wrestling and all thing related to it fake. Are all the matches previously planned and practiced. Some even say that the death of edie guerrero was stage. He just had a plastic surgery! This sounds very awful, is it true? Please tell me is wrestling fake and staged and acted?
Awful teeth and an awkward smile...? I have horrible teeth which are all crooked, they are in desperate need of whitening, and my gums nearly take over my teeth. In other words, I need some massive work done on my mouth (Veneers, teeth re-contouring, some gum surgery, and maybe more). I really want to find the best dental clinic in the United States, as price is no objective. I want the most perfect, Hollywood smile that money can buy. I remember watching a few years ago on E! News that there was this dental clinic in California that has a large celebrity clientele, that has not only produced some amazing smiles, but also the clinic works to give the client a more natural looking smile. I have a very awkward smile, where when I have had photos taken, the photographer tells me not to smile. I really want to not only obtain a perfect set of teeth, but I want a natural looking smile, where people would rather me smile, then keep my mouth shut. So can any one recommend a good dental clinic, that also specializes in plastic surgery in the mouth area (so I can get that million dollar smile)? It would be so greatly appreciated, as I am so embarrassed about my teeth and smile that I also cover my mouth when I talk or laugh. Also I have already worn braces (4 years), and they did nothing....
Sister called me ugly.. feel awful? Or she meant it implicitly, without saying it outright. I'm reasonably close to my sister and was in her room when she was showing me her facebook where she points out one particular photo and is like "wow look at this look at how many comments I've gotten on it" and she showed me all of them were like "wow ur so hot etc. etc." and I was like "yeah great" then she said "but uve got to admit this wouldn't happen on any of ur photos no offense" and this pretty much made me feel like ****. I could just tell from the tone of her voice she knew she was better looking than me and it's so depressing because there is nothing I can do to change how my face is. And I know I'm not gorgeous but it still hurts. I keep thinking I am ugly now and I don't want to leave the house and let people see mee ugly face. Please don't comment "it's inside what counts" and "u need confidence" PLZ. What do i do :( Plastic Surgery?
Friend called me ugly.. feel awful? Or she meant it implicitly, without saying it outright. So I have this close female friend (im male), and was at her place when she was showing me her facebook where she points out one particular photo and is like "wow look at this look at how many comments I've gotten on it" and she showed me all of them were like "wow ur so hot etc. etc." and I was like "yeah great" then she said "but uve got to admit this wouldn't happen on any of ur photos no offense" and this pretty much made me feel like ****. Why do most doctors marry golddiggers? I swear, 90% of them do. My dad is a doctor, so I know a little about this. Most doctors have horrible marriages. Horrible. The reason is that most of them have terrible egos and they usually marry awful women who are only in it for the prestige and money. After about a few years, most of them get botox and plastic surgery, making them even more obvious trophy wives.
Which would you rather have, full lips or high cheek bones? i was looking at pictures of people who had really bad plastic surgeries and i thought of the lengths they went to to get the perfect face but they ended up with awful lips and scary cheeks among other things! so i thought i'd ask what would u rathe have Naturally without having to go through any surgery: full lips or high cheek bones?
Poor katie price (Jordan) does she really deserve all this bad treatment on I'm a celebrity? LOL Hi I must say Kate is really getting what she deserves and asks for in the Jungle challenge. i think the public are bored of her antics , Morals, childcare (lack of) and her manipulation of the press during her recent boring divorce ritual, she does everything for money she is a whore to it. My god she is so ugly too, her plastic surgery is so awful its ruined her perception, where on earth did she dig those Lips from, they look like shoe box lids not Botox. Her face was falling apart in that water tank, is it glued together or what. She is a bad example to girls to follow that is why she is being voted for those disgusting tucker trials. I reckon that the public are peed off with her and antics thats why they want to get rid of her. What do you think? 10 points best/ funniest answer Lee Ann, shes very bad, a whore to fame and money and nothing will get her way to get it. Pete is well shut of that one. A Princess with a council house morals and mentality and she is an insult to council house people, sounds like thats where she is really from. She should shut up, don't drag her divorce into the open and look after her children instead of setting a bad example.
What did you think of The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor? Having been a huge fan of the first two Mummy films, I was again expecting another thrill ride from Universal as the lights dimmed - but that expectation soon turned to dread as I watched this iconic franchise descend into an absolute mediocre disaster! How Brendan Fraser ever agreed to even appear in this third instalment is beyond me and the slight fact that there are actually no mummies in this film only paves the way for its critical mauling! You see, a Mummy is an ancient Egyptian King buried in a Golden Sarcophagus who has the arguable honour of having his brain wrenched from his skull through his nostrils. He is not a former Chinese Emperor who was turned to dust over a thousand years ago by an immortal Witch! This time round, its China's turn to host a doomsday Mummy-fest - why not? It's hosting the Olympics and after all, downtown Shanghai is stereotypical Mummy territory right? Wrong, and director Rob Cohen's first stab at the Mummy franchise has this word daubed all over the screen in bold, red ink, even more so if you're a fan of the first two films. Here, the effects still live up but the whole aspect of character development seems to have been swept to the sidelines in favour of appalling jokes and Chinese fireworks. The relationship between Fraser and newcomer, Maria Bello is laughable to say the least and the only time anyone pauses for breath is to shoot or blow something up! The film also suffers badly from inaccuracies. In the second film, archaeologist Rick O'Connell (Fraser) and Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) were married and had an eight-year-old son, Alex. But now, just seven years later, Alex has suddenly become a twenty something-year-old Mummy basher! Also, does any one else find the inclusion of Mountain Yetis, or Abominable Snowmen in a Mummy film simply hilarious??? Both Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh are indeed welcome additions to the franchise and thank God they're here - at least Yeoh's character is believable and her brilliantly choreographed final battle with Li is visually stunning. Yeoh is also immortal in the film, well, any woman who has a two thousand-year-old daughter who looks about ten would have to be, unless the Chinese know something about Plastic Surgery us Westerners don't. Whoever cast American actress Maria Bello for the role of Evelyn O'Connell, the posh, sexy, kick-*** British Egyptologist, formerly played by Rachel Weisz, should be shot! I found it remarkable that Hollywood had the cheek to replace Weisz, a fantastic actress who was a thrill from start to finish in the first two films. No doubt Bello is convincing when playing the right parts, but here, she just doesn't seem to find her comfort zone in Weisz's shoes, sporting an absolutely diabolic British accent which at times sound like a cross between Australian and Irish. Perhaps Bello's slick dagger twirling and shooting skills are enough to make the audience not wish to see her get eaten by the Yetis and her revealing night gowns certainly add a sense of brief eye candy for male audience members. But Weisz's absence is still severely felt…and missed. The film is hit with yet more bullet wounds in the form of its awful "humour" and desperately unfunny one liners, all of which sink like lead balloons. Take Evelyn's brother, Johnathan (John Hannah), who to be fair was hilarious in the first two films but here, tries to squeeze every last drop out of his disastrous dialogue by pulling strange faces and constantly flapping his arms. I mean, one has to wonder whether the Screenwriters have any wit or originality at all when a huge hairy beast, who is bizarrely one of the passengers in a rickety aeroplane which almost crash lands into the Himalayas, vomits all over Hannah and the audience gets rewarded with the line 'the yak yakked'. Save us! Its not all bad news for Mummy 3, however. The Special Effects are at times, breathtaking and the spectacular, firework-laden chariot chase through the streets of Shanghai is certainly a highlight. Some of the Himalayan wide shots are stunning, presuming they're not all CGI and for part of the film, the O'Connell's transport is a ramshackle plane who's Pilot is Irish and addicted to alcohol - what a surprise! But one is left feeling deflated and frustrated at the end of the film. After yet another, computer-generated battle sequence, which is by far the poorest of the last decade, we cut straight back to downtown Shanghai! As if the whole battle sequence was just a dream. No results, no conclusions, no characters going their separate ways. Its sad the film suffers this way because its not the fault of the actors (well, perhaps Bello), or even the director - it’s the Screenwriters and Editors who are to blame here and no one else. I heard the reason Rachel Weisz chose not to reprise her role as Evelyn was due to 'problems with the Script'. That is the biggest understatement anybody could give this film and even if Weisz was in it, I don't think she could have saved it. A disappointing; overblown and at times, simply ridiculous end to what was once quite an exciting franchise! D Does anyone else agree?
What did you think of The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emporer? Who preferred Jordan blonde? I think she looks awful having had all this plastic surgery and now dark hair. Thought she looked fab a few years back before she had so much surgery and certainly looked better blonde.............
Guys, your opinion on women? how many guys dont find celebrity girls as hot as normal every day girls you see. i do like celebrity girls like most people but i don't really find many of them more attractive then girls i would see myself. im put off by so much make up and plastic surgery, i think they look awful, natural girls are much much better, who agrees? don't get me wrong there are attractive celebrities but i think the hottest ones are the ones that stay the most natural. their high ego aint very attractive either i think
I have whites spots around my eyes that may be fat deposits?? Is lipo the answer? What can get rid of them???? These white spots are smooth..but a little raised on the skin! I have tried everything to cover them up..even the pricest cover creams..The Dr. told me he thought they were fat deposits caused by high-Cholestoral..but my blood work is fine ..Maybe it may have been high at one time..but not now..anyway he says nothing will make them go away!!! Can Liposuction be done? Or plastic Surgery? Can someone please help or give me advice..I feel so terribly ugly and awful with these things on my eyes! With the dark circles I have always had..it really makes these white spots very noticeable!!
both my parents are extremely gorgeous, but i'm ugly?! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!? i can't stand how i look!!! my dad looked like a male model -- and my mom was petite and very naturally feminine looking...then there's me. i look like a masculine, pimple-face, ugly hair, ugly everything girl!!! it makes me feel so awful...i don't want plastic surgery and shit...but i've gotta know...how come i'm so hideous and my parents are so gorgeous!?!?!?!?!?! here are my pics: u can see my ugliness...i don't have any youthful pics of my mom on me right now and my dad has hardly been in my life, so it's hard to find photos of him...but yeah: http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g70/celena_02/
Ok... something light hearted & just for fun!? We all know beauty is in the eye of the beholder..... BUT! If you HAD to choose between someone you found really gross but with a fantastic body or someone you found really gorgeous with an awful body.......... which one would you choose? Plastic surgery not an option!
POLL: Who here love Ashlee Simpson? -I mean sure despite her vocal enhancement yet you may like Britney--when she was blonde and thin -Despite her plastic surgery and more to come -her awful lyrics that make no sense "Hollywood sucked me in but it won't kick me out" in a love song...where did that come from...she should have said "NY set me up but Hollywood won't kick me out" -and despite her lack of fashion sense -and the fact that I have CD with her voice without music and without enhancements...it sounds soooo funny....i mean they call this person an artist???? when my sister of age 3 sounds better then her????? what has happen to the U.S. population...has our brain died out....I MEAN HILTOn's new album...."blondes are blind" I mean "stars are blind"
What should I do? I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years now. I love him like crazy and we recently had a beautiful baby girl. The problem is I feel unworthy of him. I have always felt like this but I never knew it would get this bad. He's the most incredible guy and soo handsome. Everyone admires him and comments on how great he is. In comparison I look ugly and tired, especially after having the baby. I have spoke to him about this and he tells me not to be silly and how much he needs me and loves me. I actually now hate waking up in the morning with him as i look awful without make up. I have considered plastic surgery but don't feel that it would really help. If i stay with him, I feel that I will always feel this way about myself and will get worse in the coming years. I will also make him miserable too. If i leave him, I will be breaking up our family and still feel miserable because I love him. I'm now ashamed to be seen out with him and it's really making life difficult for us both.
Woman on 'I'm a celebrity'.? If you were the American woman on 'I'm a Celebrity' would you have asked for your money back from the plastic surgeon who made such an awful mess of her face, or would you make money from showing gullible women why they shouldn't go for the plastic surgery? Do you think she really thinks she looks good? But 'Dreams', she looks an absolute MESS! By no stretch of the imagination can ANYONE say she looks better than if she had left her face as it was.
I hate my body because of my breasts I am short, thin, and have HUGE boobs. But no one ever calls me skinny because of my boobs. I have a 32 D and I'm only 5'1 and 103 pounds. Guys say they love small boobs now, and sometimes I cry when I look in the mirror. My friend is tall, thin, and has an A cup and she is always going on about how slutty big boobs look. I don't want to get a reduction, because I am against plastic surgery. Still, I feel awful. Any way to help this situation?
can you edit this essay if you are better in english? "Beauty is in the eye of beholder," is an unknown proverb in contemporary society. It is a simple sentence that does not make sense anymore. Some women, and now many more men, think social interaction and personal success are dependent on physical attraction, and unfortunately, in this society, they are frequently right. Being perfect is a common issue, but when this issue becomes an obsession it can grow into a far more serious mental illness. Plastic surgery is a huge obsession among all people including preteens, teenagers, and adolescents. It is an obsession that is fed by models and celebrities who think nothing of going under the scalpel again and again in an elusive chase after a beauty icon that does not exist. Plastic surgery is not without risk. It is not a healthy way to look perfect. Plastic surgery can affect a person physically, socially and mentally, and it can have many side effects. It is a painful procedure that can even lead to death. There is a five percent death risk for all people who undergo anesthesia, especially general anesthesia, which is used in many cosmetic surgeries (Younai). A young mother, Dehlmalyz Rios, was 26 years old when she decided to have plastic surgery. Two days after the surgery her body rejected the fat that was deposited in her calves. She died, leaving two children behind. Clearly it can ruin the lives of more than just its proponents (Peru 2). Plastic surgery includes cutting, bending, stretching and other methods to manipulate body structure in order to get a desired shape. This causes pain, discomfort, and swelling that may remain for a lifetime. Some side effects, such as physical pain, are permanent. Plastic surgery can cause depression brought on by medication used to control the aftereffects of surgery. Poor and sometimes grotesque results may also bring on depression and other emotional problems. Of course there is always the post-surgical risk of pneumonia from having to remain in bed for long periods of time or as a result of forced inactivity, and there are the risks of infection and human error. Sometimes there are emotional traumas from the surgery not having the desired effect, or the person’s inability to accept, or disappointment with, the modifications. There can also be guilt or bad feelings caused by spouses, relatives, colleague or friends. Cosmetic surgery depends a great deal on the doctor’s qualifications. There are doctors who offer surgery at very low prices who are not skilled or qualified to perform plastic surgery. Most of these doctors are untrained except for a seminar in a hotel for a few hours. Credentials aren’t checked so that people who may not even be doctors are allowed to take these seminars. In Miami, a doctor named Reinaldo Silvestre, practiced surgery in a small office. He had very little medical training. One of his patients, named Alexandra Baez, claimed that he gave him breast implants instead of the pectoral muscle implant that he had requested (CNN). Many doctors who are performing plastic surgery are not licensed by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. They are quacks, get-rich-quick surgeons, who perform as many surgeries as they can and often under less than sterile conditions (Odenthal). Cosmetic surgery is not for everyone. This doesn’t prevent people from seeking it. Plastic surgery costs thousands of dollars and usually requires a good deal of recovery time. Some people sacrifice their basic needs to save enough money to pay for the surgery. There are those who say that plastic surgery should not be used to change someone’s appearance for the sake of vanity. Sometimes plastic surgery taken to the extreme can make someone look less than human, as is the case with Michael Jackson. People make fun of him, but he is wealthy enough that it doesn’t seem to affect his life. But what about the person who is not wealthy or what if a celebrity and the surgeon go wrong in making decisions? The surgeon may say he or she is sorry, but the surgeon can just walk away. The patient has to live with the awful results. But whether the surgical effects are deemed a success or failure, both the surgeon and the patient are responsible the surgery and the other performed it. With everything there is good and bad. Plastic surgery is no exception. Cosmetic surgery can make someone feel better about their looks, which may lead to an improved life. And certainly cosmetic surgery to repair birth defects, burns, and scars is a boon. But people need to realize that looking like a Hollywood star isn’t necessarily going to change your life or make you happier. They need to understand that things can and do go wrong with plastic surgery and the decision to have plastic surgery shouldn’t be taken lightly. Because when you get right down to it, beauty IS in the eye of the beholder. Plastic surgery is a risk that is undertaken with both sorrow and pleasure. Before making a decision, a person must consider risks such as unexpected costs, untrained surgeons, and physical pain during and after surgery. People should not be taken in by how inexpensive a surgery is; rather, they should be concerned about the most important thing of all: life. Plastic surgery is preferable for people who don't have other options, but it is not the best way to look like those Hollywood models and celebrities.
I have 5 large, extremely unattractive moles on the side of my face..how to lighten or hide them please help!? Yes I have 5 big ugly moles on my face. They are on the right side and are SO embarrassing. I have no self-confidence left b/c ppl at school make fun of me and call me names. I try to ignore them but I end up crying anyway. Please ,do you know a way (other than plastic surgery) to lighten, fade, or hide them? I am always having to turn my face away from people. They stare and I am so embarrassed. Other than that, I have blonde hair, blue eyes and I'm 5'10"..I feel beautiful until I see my horrible face. PLEASE PLEASE help me. Oh please I feel awful. Thank you SO much.

Self esteem question? I am 16 years old, and many guys tell me I am attractive. But, I have this problem with my chin. I have no chin. It makes my side profile look awful and I feel so ugly. I know I can't get plastic surgery right now so that is obviously not an option. What can I do to help with self esteem? I am so tired of criticizing myself and my face. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Sarah Jessica Parker....the Unsexiest Woman Alive according to Maxim.? How rude was Maxim for its poll. The magazine ranked Sarah Jessica Parker as the "unsexiest woman alive". She beat out Amy Winehouse for the title. I think that is awful. Just because she does not opt to have plastic surgery or be a big sex symbol for being a "whore" like Kim Kardashian or Fergie (who has had a ton of plastic surgery) does not mean she deserves to be ranked as unsexiest woman alive. I am not a big SJP fan but I was appalled when I saw that. I read an article with her saying that it hurt her feelings. That was horrible. What do you guys think about Maxim's poll? Do you agree or disagree? I put two links on my question. One is a pic of SJP and one of Amy Winehouse. Who is really the unsexiest woman alive? http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3533282048/nm0000572 http://omg.yahoo.com/big-this-week-feb-25-march-1-2008/photos/1430#id=10 Note: i love amy winehouse's music but come on..she looks ridiculous.

Does Heidi Montag have cellulite? I hate her, so so much, I think she is awful for the youth watching MTV and ridiculous for getting plastic surgery to make herself feel more comfortable in her own skin. THIS IS NOT A MESSAGE WE SHOULD BE SENDING! She was fine the way she was and now she looks like a joke to me! She's an awful person inside out. I see pictures of her all the time flaunting her boughten chest and prancing around on a beach. It makes me upset seeing her looking so flawless! Are these pictures really what she looks like? Does she have cellulite like all the other celebrities? Please tell me she does!
Trying to locate film but don't know the title? It is an old film featuring a Lady who is shy but has money and is married by an awful man who takes her on a fishing trip and he pushes her into the water to be almost eaten alive by a Croc or alligator (not sure where is was set). She survives and has major plastic surgery and comes back years after to get revnge on her husband who of course took all her money and was living the life of a rich man thinking his wife was dead. I know it's a long shot but if anyone can help i would be greatful.
Guys - Should having a facial flaw stop me from asking a guy out? Alright, so I'd like to get to know this guy better. We have hung out twice. I wanted to ask him out but I have one problem. I have a really awful flaw on my face. I don't want to get plastic surgery because having this flaw has humbled me throughout my life and also lets me know if someone likes me for me. Besides this flaw, I would be about a 9 and a half on the looks scale. People say that guys think a woman who has confidence is sexy, but does that only apply to beautiful women? I'd like to ask him out, but I'm afraid he will think "What is she thinking? Doesn't she know she's ugly?" I've had about 4 or 5 boyfriends in my life, so it hasn't completely stopped me from dating.
Need help with low self esteem? I am 16 years old, and many guys tell me I am attractive. But, I have this problem with my chin. I have no chin. It makes my side profile look awful and I feel so ugly. I know I can't get plastic surgery right now so that is obviously not an option. What can I do to help with self esteem? That is why it is not an option for me.
Can you believe Rumor Willis made it on People's Most Beautiful list? I'm sorry but she is NOT attractive. She almost looks like a guy. Is that Harsh? I'm sorry but was she beaten with the ugly stick? That was just wrong & awful. SORRY. Her mom Demi is gorgeous; I would be too after all the plastic surgery. Demi's body rocks and dad Bruce is a man's man and pretty good looking. Rumor didn't seem to get the Pretty gene. I guess she better start saving for future plastic surgery. LOL I know that was ugly but hey, these people are FAIR game WHEN they are in the PUBLIC eye. For Rumor I have to say your step daddy is super HOT. Now Demi and Ashton have a good chance of having a pretty baby; maybe! Why do you think Rumor made the list this year? Am I competely wrong?

Credentials aren’t checked so that people who may not even be doctors are allowed to take the seminar. In Miami, a doctor named Reinaldo Slivestre, practiced surgery in a small office. He had very little medical training. One of his patients, named Alexandra Baez, claimed that he gave him breast implants instead of the pectoral muscle implant that he had requested. Many doctors who are performing plastic surgery are not licensed by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. They are quacks; get rich quick surgeons, performing as many surgeries as they can under less than sterile conditions. Cosmetic surgery is not for everyone. This doesn’t prevent people from seeking it. Plastic surgery costs thousands of dollars and usually requires a lot of recovery time. Some people sacrifice their basic needs to save enough money for plastic surgery. There are those who say that plastic surgery should not be used to just change someone’s appearance for the sake of vanity. Sometimes plastic surgery taken to the extreme can make someone look less than human, as is the case with Michael Jackson. People make fun of him, but he is wealthy enough that it doesn’t affect his life. But what about the person who was not wealthy or a celebrity and the surgery go wrong? The surgeon may say they are sorry, but they can just walk away. The patient has to live with the awful results. But whether the surgical effects are deemed a success or failure, both the surgeon and the patient are responsible for one requested
What do Caucasians think of Asians? There is an old-fashioned thinking - stuck in my head for a while now - that I cannot seem to remove it from my mind. Prior to any more words, maybe I should explain more about my background. Myself was born in South Korea and I have been living in Canada for 6 years now. One concern that I have never been able to figure out is "what do Caucasian people think of Asian people?" I do have comments and thoughts on what they would be thinking but I doubt that any of my ideas are quite correct. In real life, when people are asked such a question, they would obviously try to be as nice as they could be because that's the reality. I want the truth though. That's why I chose the Internet as means of getting honest answers because people seem to be truthful about what they think when they are not talking to someone face to face, in my opinion at least. To give you an idea of what we (Asians) think of white people, I'll tell you my story. However, don't judge the entire population of Asia based on what I'm about to say though. I'm a human and I'm biased, of course. I don't represent all the people in my race. First of all, living in Asia for 14 years, I have heard of a lot of awful stories of Asians suffering from racism in western countries, especially in the U.S. As a child, I already had an impression that maybe Caucasians don't respect Asians at all and most white folks have the "White Supremacy". However, when I actually got to move to Canada. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Many people were kind and generous. Yet, there were a few times when I was not sure of what they really think of Asians. Also, though many people were treating me like one of them, I did experience some racism from time to time. So, here's my question. What is the very first impression or thought that comes to you when you see an Asian, other than the fact that he/she is Asian? Do you get a stereotype ahead of what they would be like before you even try to find out who they are really or do you sort of treat them as another human being like one of you (Caucasian)? Secondly, I'd like to talk about facial appearance. I have some interesting facts here. One thing that I was shocked to hear was that white people actually think that Asians' slanted eyes are cute and sometimes even attractive. You may or may not agree due to your own preference but I am only telling the true story, no make-ups :) In Asia, Asians prefer not to have slanted eyes. I have seen many white people making fun of Asian eyes and we (Asians) do not enjoy the fact, either. In fact, a lot of Asians get plastic surgery to get their eyes rounder and bigger. Another part of the face is nose. It's another notably known fact that Asians have small noses, which not many Asians are proud of. Then again, I've heard that some white people actually get a plastic surgery to get their noses reduced. I was quite shocked because that's the opposite of what Asians do. So, you might know by now what I'm about ask. First, I'm curious about what white people think of Asian faces, in general, of course. If you try to pick out the hottest or the ugliest one, your answer wouldn't be much helpful for me to learn what white people think of us. One time, I had an impression that white people simply think that Asians are ugly but then I know that's not quite true anymore. Now, finally, my last question is about relationship. Recently, I've seen so many discussions on "Asian Men/White Women". It is already known that white men date any figures that they can have some sexual pleasure out of. Alright, that was a bit mean to say but you get my point :) So I'm not going to ask you about what white men think of Asian women but the opposite of it. I've seen a lot of answers saying "I (white girl) don't mind dating any races", "I find Asian guys attractive", "Races don't matter to me" and so on. Good answers but it still doesn't explain what they "think of" Asian guys. I would like to hear some details, not textbook answers. For example, if you see an Asian guy (mildly attractive) and a white guy (also mildly attractive), who would you be more attracted to and exactly why so? It's obviously personal preference but I would like to hear those "exactly why so" answers, more than "I just like Asian/white people better" If you cannot answer that question because you (girls) don't see a man with their races but rather see them as who they are, what they are capable of, then I guess you're quite something else and you should be. I know that I've asked quite odd questions above. Please excuse me for that but it's really something that I have been curious about, really yearning to find out what people think of those issues. Any comments would be welcomed and appreciated. I know that the questions might sound a bit disturbing to some people. I really don't mean to be a racist or to judge any other races though. I am sincerely interested in learning someone else's view in this world. Just to spice up the discussion a bit, here's a question for white girls (only white). When an Asian guy asks you out, what is your general reaction? Let's say that this situation is like a random guy hitting on you in a public place (i.e. bar, library, street, bus, etc) and that he does somewhat resemble the stereotype of Asian boys: not tall but not short, slanted eyes, Asian accents, and he studies/works in IT, Accounting, or Engineering industry, a.k.a. typical Asian occupations in North America. I suppose that depending on personal taste, the reaction would either be "hm, interesting, something different, maybe I'll give it a try." or "What a dork, another silly Asian." Just let me know your thoughts. For those of you who would like to tell me that I'm being really old-fashioned, ignorant, stereotypical, biased, and more importantly racist, it's okay because I know I am being like that here. In the reality, I am really not and I'm here only to learn from another's view.
How can I get pain meds when my surgeon says no? I recently had what is considered the most painful plastic surgery there is: a lower body lift. Many years go I lost 150 lbs. I needed to have surgery to fix the aftermath. My surgeon separated my skin from my muscle from the bottom of my ribs to my upper thighs then cut off 10 lbs of skin (a 12 inch belt) from around my torso as well as repaired the muscles of my abdomen and then stitched me back together. It was awful pain and still is 4 weeks later. I expected him to take care of my pain while recovering, however, he said no more pain meds after two weeks! It was only vicodin, which really didn't help all that much anyway. Just took the edge off. I've done lots of research on this surgery and most patients get Percoset for at least 4 - 6 weeks. I just happen to get a "conservative" doctor. If I go to my primary care physican, she will say it's my surgeon's deal and he has to deal with it. How do people get pain meds going around their surgeon? I can't keep taking tylenol and advil for this! I don't live in PA. I live in Texas. That would be a bit of drive but thanks. My surgeon is the head surgeon. He's the only one in his practice. I considered going to the ER but I have a feeling they wouldn't want to step over another doctor's bounds... like maybe he has reasons for his conservatism. I understand the whole dependence issue but seeing me through the pain, 4 - 6 weeks, certainly doesn't mean an automatic addiction. I've read pain causes stress which of course effects the body's healing.
Why are richer people more corrupt/judgemental than poorer people just trying to survive? Life is hard for about 80% of the people outside of America and even within our borders, and life is basically a constant struggle of sorts, if you want to choose to look at it that way, yet the well off in this country and other countries, who get to go on vacations, get whatever clothes they want, afford plastic surgery, make movies/music, are into fashion, models/actors, all sorts of things, they get soooooo wrapped up in their own existance, and turn all Nazi on everyone else and act judgemental, materialistic, unhappy, and turn corrupt, and are very awful to people below their "class". This is why we have TONS of people wearing fake bags/clothes because they want to "fit in," because they're ashamed of looking poorer. Isn't this evil? Yet we have people in Africa starving, dying, etc, while people are are MISERABLE if they have last season's bag, a few years old car, and they don't have their dream job? What is honestly wrong with our society? (continued) For example, let's say you're an immigrant from Africa, you but your butt to come to AMerica, make it here, and then you venture off in some higher scale store, ONLY to have people laugh you right out, complain about how immigration is destroying this country and look at you like you're a serf, to a feudal lord. We do this even to our own middle class. The media/marketing is responsible for making almost everyone feel insecure and rake in debt to feel worthy. Why are the upper classes so evil like this? I really think it is evil. Even the whole scene. Modelling, drugs/competition/sex/alchohol, acting/music, same thing, even non-hollywood related industries, it's all about money/power etc. It's just evil.
Christians: Will I go to hell if I live a worldly life, pursue success, and go on American Idol? lol? Do I have to lead a completely Christian life with no deviations to enter the kingdom of God? Will my life, of being into fashion, shopping at Abercrombie, working out, tanning, getting plastic surgery, going to college, pursuing money success, going on tryouts for American Idol, having access to cool technology and just enjoying the only life I think I have, be a one way ticket to hell? If so, seems rather harsh to spend 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000+ years or eternity BURNING and WRITHING in pain in Hellllllll, for a FEW very few eartlhy years of being a shallow American. Is that just? lol. Or will I be okay, and only the truly bad awful people like murderers are destined for Hell? If I go to Hell along with them, do we both suffer the SAME punishment for the SAME length of time? HOW is that JUST? Me with my trendy shallow AMerican living sins, burning alongside Hitler, exterminator of the Jews? That's divine justice? lol
boobs help lol? soo im 16 and going to be 17 soon. my boobs are small. but im a really tiny girl. i know huge boobs would look awful with my body but im really sick of an A cup. like its sad that im this old and i cant even wear a B. and its not cause i want guys to look at me, my torso is kinda long so tanktops look retarded cause its just so long and flat. and dresses are hard to find that actually fit they are either like floppy or too big in the bust or waaay to tight i cant breathe. im not really insecure i would just wish i could fill out my clothes! anybody know any tips or tricks or even like stupid wise tales. but deffinitely NO plastic surgery. it would be a great help im game for anything :]
Has anyone read about Keira Knightley refusing breast enhancement for the movie The Duchess? http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2008/07/27/2008-07-27_keira_knightley_refuses_breast_enhanceme-1.html What do you think about that? :] As for me, I'm so proud of her for doing it. For some reason, it's always been just fine to lack respect for a girl because her boobs aren't big enough, something she has NO control over. And often, other girls do this to each other, which I think is awful. The fact that she's in this industry and has held out against the constant pressure for plastic surgery is so inspiring. I say BRAVO KEIRA for standing up for her own body.
Is there any way insurance can pay for rhinoplasty? I used to be a swimmer when I was younger and one time I dove in and didn't realize how shallow it was and hit my face against the bottom of the pool. My nose didn't break (I don't think.. It hurt like hell but I was young and refused to see a doctor) but my nose is slightly crooked now and a doctor said cartilage shifted so I have more at the tip of my nose then I used to. I am just very unhappy with it and I am usually against plastic surgery but I just want it back to the way it was. I do have a deviated septum now and I know my insurance covers that.. but is there any way it covers fixing my nose as well.. Like- can I use the insurance to cover the deviated septum.. doctor fees--- anesthesiology-- etc and just pay to fix the cartilage out of pocket? Any advice would be great. Also, I don't need to hear anything like 'just live with it' because I am and if there is nothing I can do then there is nothing I can do... but If there is anyway I can get it then I would love to. I also have AWFUL credit (lost my job a couple years ago and was in the hospital so got WAY behind on bills... I'm alright now but my credit is still terrible so getting a loan isn't an option
Dealing with body dysmorphic disorder? I normally wouldn't have the courage to post my photo online, but I feel so awful and so depressed that at this point I don't think it matters. I'm now 31 years old and I haven't been in any kind of relationship for more than eleven years. My therapist has discussed a disorder known as Body Dysmorphic Disorder (or BDD), and it sounds a lot like what I experience. I wish that I could wake up in the morning, and as I'm preparing for the day, at least feel somewhat good about my appearance. When you've had people run you down to your face (and on one occasion have someone tell you that you look like Beavis) it makes it very difficult to have a sense of self-esteem and value. I don't know what to do anymore. It would be a dream come true for me if I could have plastic surgery and look like someone else, but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. The feelings of worthlessness that make up my existence is something that I wouldn't wish upon anyone, not even on someone I hated. My parents, one of the few people that I would disucss this with in person, say that I'm handsome. But, they're my parents. How many mothers or fathers do you know of who would tell their son or daughter they are ugly? Our parents always see us through different eyes than the rest of the world. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn111/iceman1978/Personal%20Photos/IMAGE_020-1-1.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn111/iceman1978/Personal%20Photos/IMAGE_020-1-1.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn111/iceman1978/Personal%20Photos/IMAGE_020-1-1.jpg Try these photos http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn111/iceman1978/IMG_7590-1.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn111/iceman1978/Personal%20Photos/My%20Own/DSCN0041.jpg http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn111/iceman1978/Personal%20Photos/My%20Own/MeonFrontSteps.jpg
Could my uneven breasts actually be a serious issue? I started developing my breasts when I was about 8, but my left breast actually grew more rapidly than my right. My left breast is a C cup, but my right breast is staggering at a B cup. I know they're never supposed to be perfect, but I think this is a serious problem. I'm 17 years old, so I know I may still have a little bit more growing to do. I was wondering if I could take a mineral supplement that could help my hormones, like Magnesium or something. I'm very uncomfortable with going to the doctor, but I'm also considering plastic surgery to help at least get a little more balance, because I feel really gross and deformed. Any advice? And please don't say anything crude, I feel awful enough asking this question.
My life is falling apart because I feel so ugly, help? I'm not a shallow person and I never judge people on the way they look but my appearance is stopping me from living my life. I've hardly left my house in almost 10 months because I just cant face being in public, the whole time I'm out all that goes through my head is what people must be thinking when they look at me and see how ugly I am. Every time I see someone beautiful I get so angry that I cant be like that, why did I have to be ugly? All the billions of stunning people in the world and I couldn't be one of them! It upsets me so much. I want plastic surgery more than anything but wont be old enough for quite a few years. I've self harmed for nearly a year now and nothing I do to change myself makes me look or feel any better. I just don't know what to do anymore. People tell me I'm being stupid and that I'm gorgeous but all I have to do is look in the mirror to know that there lying. I have bad skin and the most awful hair, I'm fat and have discusting teeth. I just cant take it anymore I feel useless and suicidal.
Why do white women want to be darker and black women want to be whiter? White women go to tanning beds. They want their skin to be darker, as this is deemed by society to be attractive. Yet, black women wear blonde wigs because blonde hair is Hollywood's hair color. White women, you're white, get over it. Black women, you don't have blonde hair, its very obvious its not your real hair. Be happy with the hair you naturally have, you're not fooling anyone. I think blonde hair on a black women looks absolutely awful. I prefer natural beauty, so anything fake is not doing it for me. That also applies to white women who fake bake and have that orange glow to them. Or any female who has tons of plastic surgery. Does anyone else agree? *I'm sure someone will call me a racist and report my question. But honestly, I'm not a racist, I just prefer natural things, and until you can convince me black women can naturally have blonde hair, then I'll continue to be appalled by these women.

Are cockatoos as evil as websites portray them? I'm really facinated by cockatoos, they really are beautiul birds. I am currently interested in buying one, at the moment I want a cockatoo. The problem is from the websites I've visited they have have mostly said how awful they are and they attack everyone and you shouldn't get one since they'll scream all day and bite you and then they said unless you want to spend your time getting plastic surgery don't get one. Well I am not afraid to get bitten, I know someone who wants us to take their cockatoo for the weekend to see if the cockatoo would fit in, my point is they have been bitten but not like the bites I have seen on the computer, my question is are all cockatoos like that? also If you have had another type of parrot that you think I would enjoy more ( preferably nothing over $2000) then respond or email at I_gonna_be_vet_someday@hotmail.com also the whole weekend thing is because the people are trying to find the bird a home and they offered him to us, but anyway i wouldnt take someone elses bird just to see if i would like cockatoos or not

Worst wedding mishaps ever. Was yours as bad as mine? I got married on August 31st this year. Imagine the morning of your wedding wondering what your vows would be. My officiant said she would write our vows and refused to tell us what they said before performing them. Clearly i freaked out. Any bride is in the right mind to want to know what they say before they say it. She proceeded to tell me if I didn't like the way she worked to find someone else. I tell my wedding planner and she immediately finds us someone whose willing to perform the ceremony hours later. We call my officiant who offered to return my money earlier. She hears the news and hangs up on me. I call her back and she yells at me saying I am a brat with no respect for her. During my rehearsal she was mad because I forgot to say Hi to her. During the rehearsal she claimed she never got an invitation to dinner which she did months ago. A week before the wedding I called her to tell her to incorporate my grandfather who passed the month prior into our ceremony. She yells at me saying I just had plastic surgery I don't need to be bothered with this. Call me a few days before the wedding and we'll incorporate your grandma. Yeah! Day of the wedding I had to finally plead her to show up b/c she would no longer return my money. I guess I called her bluff. I sat on the phone saying "youre right" "i'm wrong, im sorry" She finally showed up performed the ceremony. I hated the vows. She signed the license and handed it back to me. I said thank you bye. She ignored me and walked away. I will never forget how rude and awful she was. But i moved on. In response to everyone who thinks i shouldve just brushed it off and found a new officiant, when you pay x amount for certain services they should give you a certain level of respect. When she offered to return the money she took her word back got some phoney lawyer involved at that point I didn't have an extra amount of money to just hire someone else. Yes I was aware of her writing our vows but it was an ongoing issue with her that she refused to let us here them. My husband and I both clearly remember our vows and they were embarressing and terrible. I would never recommend this officiant to anyone. I didn't provide this story to get negative feedback it was simply to hear other peoples ordeals and cope. The officiant's website is www.romanticvows.com. Don't use her EVER! Thank you.
What do you think of this roommate problem? I'm sorry, this may take a little explaining. I'll break it into steps to make it go faster. 1) We both work on the campus newspaper. We met when both applying for the same job for the 07-08 calendar year in early 2007; I would never have applied had I known he existed because he was much more qualified professionally and personally. I was happier to get a position that was actually better suited to me, and I retain this position (copy editor) this 08-09 year as well. He also still works on the paper, although his position has changed, so now I no longer write for him directly on a consistent basis. 2) We both recognized similarities in each other, and spoke on line often in the summer of 2007. We got along amicably last year as I wrote articles in the section he headed on the paper, only butting heads a few times over creative differences/misunderstandings. 3) By the end of the 07-08 school year I approached him about being roommates for the 08-09 year; he took me up on the offer, as his roommate was a senior. It seemed like a great idea since we're colleagues, we're friends (or at least to me we are) and sleep/work on similar schedules. 4) In the summer of 2008 we met each other socially on a few occasions - went to see "Dark Knight" together, for example, and I was a last minute invitee to his brother's birthday party. I would have liked to have hung out more often than we did, however. 5) Now, finally, we are roommates in our first week of college for the 08-09 year. He is a senior, I am a junior. These are the problems that are deeply concerning - I'll admit - even hurting me deeply. - This past summer I forgot his birthday since I do not check Facebook regularly during summers. I actually thought his birthday was the 29th of July, but in actuality it was the 9th.To make matters more confusing, his brother's is the 19th. On my birthday, a month earlier, he bid me a happy birthday on Facebook - I did not invite him to any party because I did not have one; I do not have enough friends to thrown one. I later found out he had a big party on his birthday to which I was not invited, although at the last minute - I believe because of his mother's kindness - I was invited to his brother's party. I left this party feeling very unwelcome and bruised, like someone wanted to ask me to leave but did not want to be rude enough to actually say it. It was the atmosphere in the room, when most of the guests had cleared out already. - He has a great many friends from many years of his life, even some going back to first grade. I do not have many friends, and I'll openly admit it's pretty obvious I want his friendship more than he needs mine. I met a bunch of them on 2 occassions this past summer. I couldn't help but notice from across the room when I signed on my own laptop (I heard the sound of my logging in on his own AIM) that I am included in his co-workers list; not his best buddies list. - He has been increasingly snippy and terse with me lately. In the past few days he has left to hang out with his girlfriend or brother, and I have not been invited. Like my old jock roommate, who was too good to speak to me, he too is now ignoring me. I don't get it. I feel so hurt. - For example, I keep offering to buy things for the room. I have furnished the room with a fridge and microwave. I keep my side of the room fairly neat, and unobtrusive to him. I bought paper plates and cups and told him they were "for the room" - meaning they are for him to use as well. He has not made any similar warm remarks to me. He comes in the room, frowns, and does not talk. I don't want to believe my roommate is a jerk because I was really hoping we'd be friends. He does have a moody side, but I don't understand how I can be any kinder or less threatening. I have recently undergone a plastic surgery procedure he himself could also benefit from, which is very costly - perhaps he resents that my mom shelled out the money for it while his would probably not? Perhaps he envies my looks? But then he is the one with the girlfriend, not me, and a long-term one too, so why should that come between us? That's enough detail for now. I'll answer more questions if anyone has any. If anyone could shed some light, elaborate on their own experiences, offer anything at all, I would so appreciate it. Tonight I came within a few inches of crying - I know that's so dopey. I just feel like I am having such awful luck. How much more friendly and easy-going can I be? I just want to be accepted by someone else, but I feel like there's no way in hell that will ever happen.
Had bladder repair-suspension 5 yrs ago; now incontinence problems again at night.? 5 yrs ago when I would start wetting the bed... I'm in my late 30s. I'd soak the bed just about every single night, I finally went to a urologist who put me on Detrol LA, which worked fantastic; completely eliminated problems. But he said I had a case needing surgery. Had the surgery and it was a miracle. I quit wetting the bed TOTALLY. The bed stayed dry 100% of the time. A huge relief to be rid of an awful problem. Now, last night, I woke up and found I completely wet the bed, after 5 succesful years post-op. Dismayed, had to get up at 4am and strip and change the bed (plastic covered mattress, thank goodness), and then had to bathe, etc. Pee everywhere. What are some products/ideas/anything that will at least keep your bed dry at night? Adult diapers? Sleeping on towels? It's a horrible feeling to wake up with the bed soaked in your own urine. How can I keep the bed and mostly myself dry if it happens again? I'd do just about anything...!
How did my eyesight get better? When I was 1 year old, I had poor, god-awful vision. I had to wear the thickest prescription that was available and the lenses had to be glass because plastic couldn't be polished enough to be see through when that thick at the time. I was cross-eyed (this was corrected through laser surgery when I was 2 years old) and astigmatism. Through-out the years my eyesight slowly improved little by little. I was wearing glasses at age 18, but the prescription was off after wearing the eyeglasses for a year and I didn't have insurance. I figured my eyesight wasn't as horrible as it had once been so decided to do without glasses for awhile. Awhile turned out to be six years. Today I went to the optomitrist and took an eye exam, the verdict came back: 20/20 in right eye with no imperfection and less than 20/25 in left eye. Since I am right eye dominate, glasses or any other corrective lenses were not reccommended. After reading my history, the optomotrist wanted to know what I had done for m my eyes. I hadn't done anything. They just got better. Anyone out there know how someone with astigmatism can just get over it? Belgara, I had surgery when I was 2, that was 22 years ago. I stopped wearing them when I was 18, so that still makes 16 years. Did it really take that long for the surgery to have that effect? Judy B, A military hospital in Germany was the only way to get the prescription at the time. That is probably why there was only so many types of lenses available. It was 1984 afterall. Also, I was told that the surgery was used to correct my cross-eye, I don't know if it was or wasn't, it was just what I was told by my parents. I never really looked into it or questioned more about it, so it is a possibility that the surgery was for something else and the cross-eye was fixed as a result of the surgery or treatment after it.

Can yo check my grammar? Can yo check my grammar? Beauty is in the eye of beholder is an unknown proverb in contemporary society. It is only a simple sentence that does not make any sense anymore. Some women think social interaction and personal success are dependent on physical attraction. Being perfect is a common issue, but when this issue becomes obsession it can become a more serious mental illness. Plastic surgery is a huge obsession among all people including preteens, teenagers, and adolescents. It is an obsession that is fed by models and celebrities who think nothing of going under the scalpel again and again in an elusive chase after a beauty icon that doesn’t exist. Plastic surgery is not without risk. It is not healthy way to look perfect. Plastic surgery can affect person physical, socially and mentally. Plastic surgery can also have many side effects. It is painful procedure that can even lead to death. A young mother, Dehlmalyz Rios, was 26 years old when she decided to have plastic surgery. Two days after the surgery her body rejected the fat that was deposited in her calves. She died by leaving two children. It can ruin lives as well. Some side effects are permanent such as physical pain. Plastic surgery includes cutting, bending, stretching and other method to manipulate body structure in order to get desired shape. This causes pain, discomfort, and swelling that may remain for a lifetime. Plastic surgery can cause depression brought on by medication used to control the after affects of surgery. Of course there is always the post-surgical risk of pneumonia from having to remain in bed for long periods of time or of forced inactivity. Sometimes there are emotional traumas from the surgery not having the desired affect, or the person’s refusal to accept the modifications. There can also be guilt or bad feelings caused by spouses, relatives, or friends. Cosmetic surgery is depends a great deal on the doctor’s qualifications. There are doctors who offer surgery at very low prices who are not skilled or qualified to perform plastic surgery. Most of these doctors are untrained except for a seminar in hotel for a few hours. But whether the surgical effects are deemed a success or failure, both the surgeon and the patient are responsible for one requested
is this fine essay? The Human Obsession "Beauty is in the eye of beholder," is an unknown proverb in contemporary society. “Not guilty plea in fake plastic surgeon case.” November 19, 2004 http://www.cnn.com/2004/LAW/11/19/cosmetic.surgeries/ Karl Ross. “Search for Beauty Ends in Death.” 1998: 2 http://www.locateadoc.com/articles.cfm/1406/1412 http://www.cnn.com/2004/LAW/11/19/cosmetic.surgeries/ http://www.surgery.org/press/news-release.php?iid=363§ion=news-safety
